I've been missing my dad a lot today. I'm so grateful to have a good relationship with my father. He's one of my best friends and has been one of my greatest supports in life. This song reminds me of him. He would listen to it a lot when we were kids. I don't know why. I guess he likes Tracy Chapman's voice (I thought she was a man for the longest time). It's actually a really sad song when you listen to the words. I really grateful for a father who took care of our family and made sure I didn't have to live the life that Tracy Chapman sings about.
